Can chair vibration damage laptop speakers/hardware in this situation?

we have laminated flooring and while I was playing music from the laptop speakers(35 speaker level while max volume youtube) then my brother suddenly moves his chair which causes quite loud vibration screeching noise and I could feel it in my room floor/desk so I'm wondering if this could damage the laptop speakers/hardware since I'm a bit worried.

Many reasons why speakers bust

It can also be the way he moved it loosened something up or even caused a small rip in the speaker only way to know for sure is have it looked at if it is under warranty you should get it checked out

I doubt it would damage anything but you could soothe your damaged nerves by going to the hardware store and purchasing felt gliders that stick on the feet of his chair.

Most likely no but if the laptop was on it and he moved it abruptly then you should have worry but if not should be ok

No. Moving chairs they are not even on does not damage a laptop.
Investing a couple bucks in felt gliders for the chair is still advised.

The problem with vibration, specially when they're strong or some abrupt movement, is often the hard disk, as the heads might crash with the plates, it's the most sensitive component (SSDs are of course immune to this). It's the only thing I would be really worried about.
The speakers are unlikely to damage, save for very high volumes or a poor quality construction.
