Can default slide show be disabled in WLM?

I can't forward photos by any other method other than to send them as a slide show. Many of my email recipients cannot open them. Why can't I just forward the email with the photos "as is" instead of having to convert everything to a slide show?

I believe Microsoft discontinued Microsoft Live Messenger and is now using Skype as their instant messenger software . Are you trying to email the photos ?

Hi, Vista King -- I'm using Windows Live Mail. I don't use a messaging service. I just want to email photos that I have received, and when I try to do so, my only choice is to forward them as a slide show.

or send them as an attachement instead, you can use Windows 7 to zip them up so they are not that big
but i cannot understand why the people cannot see them. All they need to do is click on the email where it says slide show and it will take them via IE or firefox. They do not have to view them as a slide show, they can look at them one by one and download which pictures they want
Why I like the skydrive where it puts it, because it goes faster in your email because it makes it thumbprint size and explodes it when it gets on its website

It's mostly Mac people who can't open the slide show (even one photos has to go as a slide show), but there are several PC users who have trouble, too. What they get is a white envelope icon with initials like "efm," or something. Funny I never receive any emails with that icon, even though I exchange photos with other Windows Seven users. I get the photos (one-by-one) with their emails, no attachment necessary.

I think I have a different ribbon than the one described in the article as I cannot find "insert single picture" on my WLM ribbon/taskbar. Is it hiding somewhere?

I don't have "send photo as attachment," either. I have a paper clip, though. Apparently, to use this method I have to first save all of the emailed photos in "my pictures" in order to access them. A couple of these emails have over 20 pictures in them!

Yeah, I think that will do it. Now I'm deciding if I really want to spend the time copying all of those pictures into "My Pictures," and then re-copying them into a new email. Sometimes I wish Windows would make things simpler for those of us who want to do things differently than Windows dictates. Anyway, I will give it a try just to see if it works.
