Psu is a liteon ps-6301-08a 300watt

Motherboard is msi b250m pro-vd

If so, how are they oriented?

I'm rebuilding an acer for dedicated use in a home recording studio.

Thanks in advance.

Yes you can, but it's a old PS on a new MB. Don't recommend it. What CPU and GPU you're going to use?
- The main connector (20+4) has to be installed together as one. the two pieces will only join perfectly in one side and direction.
- The four pin (2 yellow+2black) is to be connected near the CPU.
- The Molex connectors (P3 and P4) are for old HDD and P5 is for Floppy drive. Useless.
- There is only two SATA disk connectors on same cable.

Thanks for the reply, i see how to lock the connectors.

The new board has an 8pin for the cpu power and this is obviosly quite old, so it looks like i'll go with a new psu.

thx again

You can use the four pin for the CPU if it is low power consumer. You didn't answer what CPU and GPU you're going to use.
