Can I delete doctemp file on C drive?

My C drive is almost full and I'm getting rid of miscellaneous things. I found a 48 mg folder called "doctemp" on C. What is it and can I delete it without harming the function of Windows 7? Thanks in advance for advice!

Depends but 48 Mg (megabyte) isnt much. how big is the drive?
