Can I increase the memory dedicated to my graphics card?

I don't know a whole lot about dealing with stuff like this so any help would be very appreciated. For my graphics card, it says it is an Intel G33/G31 Express Chipset Family. I know it has 64 MB dedicated to it and I'm not sure if I can increase that or if I have to buy a graphics card. As I said, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah if you to little bit of memory,it can make games lag. Get a video card with 1gb of memory,more then enough. Um to run games nicely though you would have to spend around at least $90usd and that's at minimum. Something like a hd 6670 with 1gb should be ok for games at resolution of 1680x1050 without aa .It would average around 30-45fps without aa. Um you could spend more for a better card if you want to but only if your going to play higher resloutions with really high settings. For $90 card it runs pretty good,this guy is running it with that card,also make sure before geting another card,that your power supply is at least 400w+ around 450w from a trusted quality brand like corsair and that you at least got a duo core cpu and 3-4 gb ram and it should run pretty good.

Well, I'm not looking to play some amazing game with insane graphics. This really is a problem because I'm trying to play FTL: Faster Than Light and I can get the visual to pop up, but it's crazy laggy.

If it's just for simple things like working on your computer and simple games in 2d and really low requierments then any $40-50 card should be ok.You can get a 5450 for 35$usd on amazon.

G33/G31 sounds like onboard graphics, which would use system RAM for memory. 64 MB sounds small; it's not enough to support Aero Glass effects in Windows 7.

You may be able to increase the RAM allocated to graphics in your BIOS settings. As you have supplied no information about your system, this is speculation.

Get the graphics card anyway, if you can.
