Hi,

Is it possible to let someone remotely access my media player? i want to alow people to stop the people that im playing on my pc if for example the phone goes in our very small office and Im not at my desk. Was looking at the streaming options on media player we all want to listen to the same tunes on one set of speakers which wil be plugged into my pc. What want to do is have a library set up on my pc with a shared drive that people can access...Is this possible with windows 7?

Cheers,
Pete

There is an easier way, remote desktop. Personally I prefer Team Viewer for remote access but any remote desktop would do. just log on and stop it, when the phone call is done re-start it. Is there a reason you just want to do WMP?

I believe you're thinking of the Play To feature. What you can do is have your Music Library shared to these people over the network and enable the remote control of your Media Player so these people can access WMP and then use the "Play To" function on their end to play this music to your PC.
