I created a photo journal containing images and narrative. I want to copy the document and send it as a CD or DVD to a neice in CA who I have asked to review and modify or redact some of its contents.

When I tried creating a CD it burned as a read only disk. How to accomplish this so she is able to work with the document?

Questions:

Is there a way she can copy the CD to her HDD and then be able to make changes in a word processor?

or should I burn it as a DVD+RW and if so would she then be able to modify its contents/

Are there other ways to accomplish this? The document over 26 MB and too large to send via an email attachment with her AOL mail program.

Why not put it on a little cheapie USB stick as a regular file(s). She can edit that easily and return it to you when done. Easy enough to put in regular mail.

You need to make a multi session disk. If you finalize the disk it is read only. Multi session will let you add files to the CD DVD until it is filled and no free space is left. Deleted files will disappear but you won't get the space back. The other option is to use a RW disk. Copy the files to your PC, edit them, and then rewrite them to the RW disk.
