Interesting, I wasn't aware of that limitation.
I always thought that it would just pick up the images as long as they are in that folder and the correct drive was attached when booted into the recovery options.
Edit: Just noticed MJF's post after I was writing mine. So does that mean it will pick up the backups on a different drive? As long as they keep the same folder structure?
