Can I redownload and reinstall Microsoft Office Professional Academic?

Long story short, I had to wipe my hard Drive and reinstall windows. In the process, i lost Microsoft Office Professional Academic. Now, I'd really like to not have to pay another 80 bucks for it, so how can i re download and reinstall it using my Product key? I bought the download version and I didn't get a backup disk (haha, yes I'm stupid)

it says that the key does not represent a product which is available for a free download. Have i just been screwed over by Microsoft?

Where did you purchase the Academic version from? Was it Microsoft or a third party vendor?

Rather than going thru a lot of trouble I would call the MS activation people and have them sort it out: How to find a telephone number for a Microsoft Product Activation Center
