Solved Can I still use my Sound Xonar STX with SLI? 2x GTX780's

Hi all If you look at this thread you will see that I have gotten another 780 and in SLI its fine and performance is too. My problem is now my motherboard will not see my pci-e x1 ASUS Xonar STX, in BIOS it says nothing is present and even if i put my second gpu in an non native slot. My question is is there something along of the lines of using non native slots and getting slightly slower performance but get my sound card to work once more, like changing what gen it uses or something. the pic below shows how my slots are set up and currently it is set to native SLI 2 way setup.

I have tried putting it in the slot above 4 and in 4 itself. The BIOS NB area says nothing is present in those areas. I have also tried putting it in B2 and using second gpu in slot 3.

Do you have it set as the default sound device ? You should not have to move it at all.

The motherboard does not see it and it does not show up in windows at all. it seems to be in SLI the bios disables or will not see anything other than gen 3 cards perhaps? EDIT: If need be I can get screens of the bios for you. EDIT 2 : my dip switch is also all set to on should I turn off the ones i'm not using?

So i'm retarded lol I thought I had reset to defaults after each attempt but idk I must have been dreaming or something as I can get it to work in any slot now with gpu in native slots too so now they are in native and with sound thanks for all your advice, got my brain firing lol.
