i have 3 files(a,b,c). I want to give an option in file a (y/n). When the user press y key, then file b should open and when n key is pressed file c opens.:D

Welcome to the forums DavidMKD:

From your post, it looks like you want to run a DOS type of batch file and then let the user select which program to run by saying yes or no.???

Why not just put shortcuts to each in a folder with Icons and then let them select which of them it wants to run?

There are select dos batch files that will give you want you want but I think that it would be more complicated for them to go to a command prompt and select the batch file.

A bit confusing as to exactly what you want to get done..
