Hi

I ran a driver update utility which identified several drivers on my system that needed updated. I applied the updates but after doing so I could no longer connect wirelessly to my router.

However by going into windows services and RESTARTING Wlan Autoconfig the link was established and I could get online again.

All my drivers are now up to date and my wireless settings are all set to 'connect automatically' on boot up. I've run a number of different utility programs but none seem able to identify why the Wlan Autoconfig isn't connecting first time.

Can you help?

Thank you.

There is no 'Start' option only Automatic - which it is already set to. Automatic [delayed] - which made no difference when I tried it - Disabled and Manual.

There is a box called 'Start' in the Service Status section but it is greyed out so I can't access it.

"a" driver update utility? Bad move. Never use those programs.
