Are you trying an upgrade or a clean install?
Are you booting from an ISO on a DVD??
Is the 7600 from MS or another source?

where did you get your iso from? please grab "hashtab" from HashTab... is the coolest thing ever!

and compare your hash to the official one posted below, if it differs you have an altered iso.

Your HD is probably corrupted. Need to reformat and reinstall from a cretified copy of Win 7. You normally can't replace your MB and CPU and expect the old drive to run correctly. Also get rid of that copy of 7600, it probably has malware.

Good Luck

I think I understand where you're going, but the terminology isn't quite correct. The drive isn't the issue - the issue lies with the operating system. The OS should always be reinstalled after changing out a motherboard and CPU, as the OS just won't operate correctly when critical components are replaced. The OP should reinstall 7100, and should reformat the drive during the installation process.

I also agree - get rid of your warez copy of RTM.

If no operating systems will install on your hardware, it could be the BIOS, or it could be that you didn't install the components correctly, or you could have bad components. I would install a stable BIOS, then I'd start running some hardware tests, like memtest, etc.
