Can not open links in facebook using windows 7

I would consider that to be good luck.

What happens when you try to open the link?
What browser are you using?
Try right-clicking a link, and choose "Open link in new tab".

Nothing happens. IE8, Open link in new tab gets a blank screen as well as new window. But when I go to another system using xp it works great
