It is a 0x116 which is a graphics crash where the drivers didn't respond for a too long period and the recovery attempt failed.
I suggest that you update your graphics drivers.

Please uninstall everything of AMD using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from AMD. Be sure to ONLY install the drivers using custom/advanced options.

I assume these are the latest drivers then since they are the same date.

Please make sure that you update the BIOS to the most recent version

Before I forget it, please remove Alcohol 120% as it is known for causing BSODs.

Hi axe0, yes, that was the latest ati driver, I re downloaded it to be sure.
I have updated the bios and removed Alcohol 120 as suggested.
I have also stopped automatic windows updates.
Fingers crossed...

Diagnostic test

 GPU TEST

Run Furmark to test your GPU. Furmark tutorial

   Note

Run Furmark for around 30 minutes

   Warning

Your GPU temperatures will rise quickly while Furmark is running. Keep a keen eye on them and abort the test if temperatures rise too high

Download GPU-Z and keep it open while Furmark is running, make sure that you choose the sensor tab.

Once Furmark is finished make a screenshot of both GPU-Z & Furmark and post the screenshot.

Your GPU is overheating, 115C is way too hot.
You have serious cooling problems and possibly damaged components.
You have to make sure your airflow is proper + no dust inside the case.

They do look hot temps but my machine doesn't get that hot usually.
I don't play games on it, it's purely to run Cubase.
I have just ran 40 odd tracks with lots off effects for 2 hours in a loop and got the enclosed temps.
What do you think/

That is better than my GPU temps when my laptop is pretty much at idle, although I have never cleaned it.

What slot is the GPU seated in?
This part is for me so I don't have to lookup the slots your motherboard has

*1: The PCIe x16_2 slot shares bandwidth with PCIe x1_1 slot, PCIe x1_2 slot.

EDIT: is that the heaviest you let your GPU do? Asking because there often is a big difference between the stress test of Furmark and under the load of the user without stress test.

I'm trying to remember, I think a couple of those blue screens have occurred whilst I have Cubase up and I'm surfing, probably playing a music video. In terms of temps etc that's about the most this pc gets pushed.
Cubase is very intensive cpu, memory and hard drive wise, not too sure re video card, but as I say no games are played on this pc.

What does 'ta' mean?

Try to reseat the GPU or seat it into another slot and see if that helps.

Ta is short for thanks up the north of England.

I cant fit it into a different slot because it's quite tightly packed in there.
If I knew the card was faulty I'd get another but I don't like changing just for the sake of it and then find I still get the problem.
I'm not made of money...

We need to know if reseating the GPU helps or seating the GPU in another system helps, if in another system the GPU doesn't let the system crash we know it is a drivers problem and from there we can continue.

Hi axe0, I must admit I hadn't re-seated because It's so tight in the case.
Also my thoughts where if it was not seated properly then the bluescreens would have been more regular.

I have now re-seated the card. It was pretty snug and not loose at all.

Reseating sometimes helps because of certain things, though most of the times where it worked were unexplainable for me.
