Can Windows 7 be installed on this desktop?

Looking at getting a cheaper used desktop




It is an HP ProDesk 600 and states " No OS Installed, COA Code for Windows 8 Professional Embedded in the BIOS"


I have a copy of Win 7 Ultimate that has never let me down on my laptops, can I install it on this with no issue?

If it ran 8 there will be no problem with 7 as long as there are drivers

- On BIOS, disable Secure boot and Fast Boot.
- Detach ALL other HDD or SSD leaving on only the target disk.
- Boot your Win 7 installation disk (as legacy to install as Legacy-MBR or Boot as UEFI to install as UEFI-GPT), delete ALL partitions on the target disk and proceed. Clean Install Windows 7

That should work fine.
Regarding USB, you might need to slipstream USB 3.0 drivers into your Windows 7 install, looking at the specs, it has both USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports from what I was able to tell, it'll probably be quicker installing through the USB 3.0 ports though (they're usually marked blue in the port I think)

Take Megahertz06 advice, that will be needed as a prerequisite.
