I'm troubleshooting a problem I have connecting to certain site on the internet. I'm doing this because I want as many answers as I can get before calling ComCast Support.

This problem only occurs on my two computers on the same router (wireless). The ISP is comcast. I have bundled service from comcast, TV, Telephone and internet. I am able to get a remote connection to another computer in the same building and in Pennsylvania (2800 miles away). I am connected to the computer in the building using TeamViewer remote control to send this post. Both computers use comcast and they don't have a problem. I am able to post this using Teamviewer to access this forum because my computers can't access this forum. Below, I have listed some of the sites I can and cannot access from this computer. The addresses are from the address line in the browser (FoxFire). The three locations use FoxFire as their browser, although I have tried IE and Chrome with the same results.

CAN
https://www.amazon.com
https://www.Blairvipplus.com
https://www.wellsfargo.com

CANNOT
Shipping, Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain Management from UPS
DRUDGE REPORT 2014®
www.sevenforums.com
http.gimpforum.com

The differences between the can and cannot are the CAN's have a prefix of https:// and the CANNOT's do not. I don't know if this is significant or not.
Note: Because I can only get on sevenforums via Teamviewer please use email in addition to sevenforums
Thanks in advance.

I think I may have solved this. I replaced my router and it worked put my old router back in and it worked too. One of two things:
1. Disconnecting and reconnecting the router may have done it. OR
2. Coincidentally, Comcast fixed it, while I as swapping routers. I don't believe this one.

You beat me to the answer. I was going to suggest skipping the router and plugging one unit direct to the modem. Good catch...

This is probably the longest I've ever had a Windows machine run without having to restore it to scratch. I'm used to restoring to "factory" about every 2 yrs. I've run with Win7 since new in 2009 and only recently (Nov, '14) restored to clean up the machine from all my 'xperimenting. LOL!! I may never need another machine.

Upgraded to 10 when it was still free, then installed 2017 update.
