Cannot add link to Games Explorer folder

I can usually drag a folder of shortcuts to the Games Explorer folder which is on the Orb Menu (marked in red below).

But for some reason, nothing happens while doing this on my wife's laptop. She has 7 Home Premium 64Bit w/SP1. This was done before, but does not want to work anymore; even dragging a game's .exe to the folder will not create the link. Anyone have any suggestions I can try?
