Hi i have windows xp proffesional 32 bit, yesterday i accidently tryed to install windows 7.. i got to the screen where i need to choose lauguege and country then i turned off my computer and reboot it but it wasnt working.. the logo wouldnt apear there was just black screen.. so i insert the xp cd i burned and tryed to boot windows from it but after it loads all the files it saying setup is starting windows and stay there.. nothing happening so i thought mabye i need to install windows 7 again and then downgrade but same thing happen, when it get to screen "windows is loading files" the progress bar stuck at the end... i dont know how to fix it i just want to have xp back. i tryed pressing f5 when it saying to press f6 and it still stuck on setup is starting windows... please help me solve my problem thank you.
Now I am assuming this is quite an old machine and maybe there are a few hardware problems such as the hard drive RAM etc etc
Now the other thing is what Windows media (7) are you trying to use - a retail or OEM version. Going back to XP is a retrograde step if you want my opinion because of the age of the system and the lack of any support.

Haha i dont know how but i fixed it what i did is i pressed f12 when the computer boot to choose temporary device and i chose removeable disk or something like that and then it brought me to the screen that says if i want to start windows normally or safe etc.. and i chose last configuration and it worked LOL but thank you anyway
