So this problem has been reoccurring again and again...
I have been having boot problems with my laptop about 2 weeks ago with black screen
and no cursor as well as "a disk read error" and sometimes a boot manager error Status: 0xc000000e9
with the error screen frozen and requiring me to manually shut down. Some times being able to access recovery options though with long loading times and sometimes freezing, however none of them helped. After many tries I decided to do try a system
restore which managed to fix it now until today....
I'm having the same problems as before except now there is sometimes a flashing underscore
I was thinking this might have something to do with the recent windows update causing problems
KB2823324. I haven't had any problems at all with my computer recently after the restore which led me to think that I had fixed it.
Thanks in advance :)?

Just read a article on signs of a faulty hard drive and I do also hear clicking noises
similar to a clock, is this a guaranteed hard drive failure? I also just system restored and my laptop is
Working but is still possible with a failing harddrive?

Once backed up the way to determine the HD's condition with certainty is to run the maker's HD Diagnostic extended CD scan, followed by Disk Check.

Then you'll know for sure and can google your laptop model for a replacement HD, a video to show how to change it out, or rely on Samsung Support or a shop to do it for you. If within a year of purchase, it is fully warranteed.
