Problem with laptop. Black screen on boot.

I have a laptop. When I open it I can see the manufacturer's logo. Afterwards that windows 10 logo and then there is a black screen. Note that during the black screen I can hear the sound that you can here when windows open and you have to enter the password, but it is still a black screen. Can you please help me?
