Solved Cannot Connect CrashPlan Tray To Web Site

I use CrashPlan for my offsite backups. (I'm running under Win 7 Pro).

Once I installed the latest CrashPlan for Home version, I can't connect my system to the
CP home web site from my CP desktop tray--even after entering the proper PW

I'm using the Avast Firewall, BTW.

An online tech from CP has been unable to kluge this dilemma, despite access to my
Avast Firewall settings.

How can I solve this problem?

Changing from the Avast Firewall to the Windows 7 Firewall did the trick.
