Cannot connect to terminal Server

I'm new to the forum and not too tech savvy, so please be patient.

OS: Windows 7 64 bit

Laptop: ASUS Notebook K60IJ Series

I work from home a lot by remoting in to my PC at work. Last week I was able to remote in just fine, but today could not using my laptop. I could remote in using my wife's laptop just fine, but could not using mine. I get the following error:

Could not connect to terminal server

I can log into the network just fine. I have a random passkey that I enter etc. But, when I put in my workstation ID and try to connect, I get the above error.

Again, I was able to log in just fine using my wife's laptop today, but not mine

I have not made any changes recently (that I know of)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you give me something to try, please provide step by step instructions on how to complete the steps. Thank you

Update:

This seems to be an Internet Explorer issue. I downloaded and tried to remote in using Firefox and it worked just fine. Any ideas why IE is now giving me issues? Is there a setting that changed? I was gonna try to uninstall and reinstall IE, but it does not come up in my list of programs to uninstall...

Go into System Restore and restore your PC to a date before you started having trouble. If you are not familiar with the process, look at this tutorial http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html Let us know how it goes. This will not erase any of your data.
