Hello, I am having issues connecting to the Internet so allow me to tell you what happened. A couple of days ago, I lost connection to the Internet. I launched trouble shooting and it returned an error that windows could not communicate with the primary (DNS) server. I tried many fixes that I found through solved threads but to not avail. I had the router replaced yesterday and upgraded from 30 to 50MB speed. This morning my mother attempted to connect to the internet with her old(ish) Dell laptop. Now Internet on my laptop (or any other laptop) is connecting for a few seconds at a time at random intervals. Customer support has done nothing to solve this and I've requested the technicians to come over tomorrow. If anyone has any sanity checks, fixes or ideas of causes please share your thoughts. A final note: My ISP is Virgin Media and oddly the internet works on the iPad I'm typing on and my phone.
Thanks for your time,
