I have recently installed Windows 7 on both my laptop and my desktop, my laptop is fine, but I cannot download or run any files on my desktop. I have tried using both IE8 and Firefox, but no luck. I have deleted all add ons on IE8, and was able to download 1 file from my email, and then IE crashed, and once I have restarted it, I couldn't download anything again. Can somebody help me to figure out what can I do to try to fix this.
Thanks,

You can only use one licensed copy on one computer, not two.

So does that mean that I have to get another copy of Windows 7 or go back to XP in order to be able to download anything from the Internet, or is it fixable?

It is not "fixable". If you want to have Seven on two computers, you need to get two valid licenses.
