cannot enter bios from my system

When you first turn on the machine-Press the Delete key until the BIOS appears.
Remember - changing BIOS settings can cause issues that may require a reset to the Default (opriginal) state of the machine.

Some machines are F1, F2, F10, or Del. to enter the bios.
Also, on rare occasions, USB keyboards aren't active on older machines so you can't get to the bios without getting a ps/2 adaptor or keyboard.
I've experienced the USB issue personally and always had a ps/2 keyboard handy just in case.
