Solved Cannot install google chrome

Yeah I cant install google chrome. when i download it and try to run all it does is the mouse spins in a circle for a while and then does absoulutly nothing. Please help.

...maybe the info/files near the end will help.

I know that the thread in the link above is about removing Chrome - but the issue in that thread was: the OP could not install be cause there were parts of an old install still around. Maybe that is the issue for you too. It will not hurt anything to run those two files.
