Solved Cannot Install Intel Graphics Accelerator driver

i have dell inspiron n4030 and running windows 7 pro 32bit , i can't install this driver , when i run the driver a message appears :"this computer does not meet the minimum requirement to install the software" , my processor is intel core i3 2.53 ghz.........plz help.

It would appear you have the wrong driver for your graphics card or the onboard graphics.

Go to this web page and enter info and get the proper drivers. > http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/

i have downloaded the video card driver & intel graphics accelerator for win 7 32 bit, the video card driver installed correctly (ATI), but i get the same message for the intel driver

I think you maybe getting confused when Dell produce Laptops there are often different graphic chips/cards used in the same model for example either ATI or Intel but not both together. In your case the ATI driver is all that you need.
I hope this clarifies things for you

thanx POOCH but isn't Intel Graphics Accelerator a driver for the processor (not graphics chip)? ,,,,,,its for 2nd generation processors i3 i5 i7 and i have intel core i3 2.53 ghz !

so what is the solution.... is there a driver that can make my motherboard compatible with this driver...other thing i have downloaded drivers made specially for my inspiron n4030 from dell website and still i get the same message, i thought that my processor maybe not intel core i3 and to check i downloaded intel ID utility but i was wrong my processor is intel i3.......am really confused.

There is no solution for you as it depends on the Chipset which is a part of the Motherboard I do not know which ATI chip you have but it is almost certainly a lot better than the intel graphics.

If you can post details of your ATI chip I will try to find a comparison

Just to make it very clear as there may be confusion here, You do not need to install the intel driver

from my inspiron n4030 STEP GUIDE my chipset is mobile intel 5 series express chipset HM57 .....and by not installing the driver isnt that mean that i will not get the full advantage of my intel i3 processor?

haha then we have a clash of information Go here and download CPU-Z install it and run it then open it to these tabs and snip using the snipping tool Save to desktop and upload using the paperclip tool


For what it is worth I also cannot use the intel graphics as I also have the wrong chipset, but it does not worry me as I know my graphic card is way better

but my video controller is AMD ATI MOBILITY RADEON not intel hd graphics is that what you mean?

Yes and I believe you will find it is better, but I cannot be certain as I do not know the model number

There are two main makes of Processor, Intel and AMD and you have an Intel.
Not to be mistaken for the graphic processor, you have the make ATI that is nowadays a part of AMD

now every thing is very clear..........one final small question: is my AMD Mobillity Radeon 5430 support recent high resoulotion games (512 Mb) , and do you know any driver/app can enhance my gaming experience ?

I am no laptop expert and this is all I have found for your graphic card but it may help; ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5430 - Notebookcheck.net Tech as to your second question I do not have an answer, but if you start a new thread there may be someone here who does.
