Cannot Install/Repair/Uninstall ANYTHING

I cannot currently install/repair/uninstall anything...I get the error message 'the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.' 'click ok to try again or enter an alternate path to 'CSHCE59.tmp' what is CSHCE59, and how do I get it...Is this a windows installer error? I could install and uninstall everything fine before...I also found a windows installer error fixer for vista that said it could fix this problem, but it said that 'your machine does not need this...' and closed right away...too bad I do not have restore points...( and I will not do a complete re-install of windows...) I will post a screen image of what is happening later...

Yes do a repair install. it will work, jon is always 100% rught and he researches and gives the resolution

Thanks Again!!! Wait, my windows ultimate cd iis just an upgrade, will it still work? I am not sure if it will accept my product key either...I had a problem with it

Have to goven full permissions to Temp files of your computer...
You Know c:/Windows/System32

I will do this right now. Its as easy as right clicking it, and clicking 'grant user full control.'

Its not that easy BRO, you have to go to the Folder in The location i gave you and then go to registry editor and try to give permission to Microsoft Folder in HKey LOCAL MACHINE- SOFTWARE-MICROSOFT-WINDOWS

Its not that easy BRO, you have to go to the Folder in The location i gave you and then go to registry editor and try to give permission to Microsoft Folder in HKey LOCAL MACHINE- SOFTWARE-MICROSOFT-WINDOWS

It is that easy, I downloaded a program specifically for that actually it says 'grant admin full control' It takes a while to do ( because of the amount of files in the folder ) but after its done, you now own the folder, if you want, I can send you the file. Its very useful and less time consuming ( just right click, and grant admin...) than doing it manually.

I am currently at step 9 with 22% and 600mb out of 2gb done with upgrading =P I hope this works

Hmm...I never tryed it for that...but I can click on anything I want, and say 'grant admin full control'... What is does is add one key to the registry, it possibly can work with the registry if it uses it ( I can send you the file ) What site is good for that uploading /downloading?

This time Jon was wrong =( I followed it EXACTLY ...without change =(
I will check the page again, just incase I went wrong somewhere...but the upgrade went smoothly without a hitch...

Hmm... just on a hunch, try clearing out your temp files using CCleaner.

Also, how long has this been going on? Where did you get your copy of Windows 7?

Hmm...I did not have internet when it was upgrading, so I did not do steps 17,18, or 19. Can I still do these? Would this of impacted the result? I am unsure what to do for step 17...I guess I did not do it exactly as I said before...
- I will try CCleaner, I have it installed because I use it, so no problem there.
- This has been going on for only a couple days.
- FutureShop. I bought it because I wanted ultimate, and it was 50% off with the purchase of my computer.

ccleaner did not fix my problem... =( Here are the screenshots of what it fixed however... (in order of 1 & 2 , 3 )
