Cannot read burnt DVD-R or DVD+R

Hello, i have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1 installed on System Model HP Pro3500 Series Desktop Intel Core i3 3220 @ 3.30GHz
Suddenly my DVD RW optical drive can no more read burnt DVD-R or DVD+R cds but can read original DVDs and CDs....
Tried uninstalling DVD drive in device manager and restarting system still same problem..
Can anyone help me out?

Please perform this [it will rule out device errors] . . .

Under the heading msinfo32 [MS System Information] - Problem Devices . . ., please run MS_Info32_Find_Problem_Devices.bat, Option [2] from here => BATCH PROGRAMS [Standalone] and then upload the results using the tutorial at the bottom of the above link [Upload to SevenForums . . .] and someone will look at it for you.

Hello, i updated my system specifications in my UserCP => Edit System Spec
Also, i tried to run MS_Info32_Find_Problem_Devices.bat but getting error "System Information" "The system cannot find the path specified"

Help...my optical drive is behaving strangely, can only read original DVDs and CDs not burnt ones...

What drive do you have the OS installed on?

I have 2 drives,
1) 240GB SSD on which my os is installed and
2) 1TB HDD

My OS is 64bit

What software did you use to burn the discs? Did you use a copy operation? If you did, are the original discs possibly copy protected?

I burnt some softwares to any empty disc, I can read these discs on another pc optical drive not in this computer

NOTE: The reason I link to the thread above rather than posting the .bat file here is because it makes it easier if I have to amend the batch script. This way, I only have to amend it and upload it to one location.

With one of the problem discs in a drive, open Windows Explorer. Does it see the disc/drive? If so, right click on the disc and select Explore. Does it open? If it does, please provide a screenshot of the contents.

If Windows Explorer can't see the disc/drive, please do as I suggested from your other system.
