Cannot Share Files between users on the same PC

All I want to do is share files between users on the same PC. I've tried everything... From right clicking on the file, properties, sharing, and selecting the users I want to share the file with. After these steps the file cannot be seen by other users. I also tried duplicating these steps and got an error message stating "Windows cannot find USER NAME".

I tried putting the file in the "Public Folder" which works but the problem is that every user can see the file. This is a problem, because I only want to share this file with my wife's account.

The windows help menu says its easy to share with specific people, but im starting to loose hope.....

Have you put the files in the public folder? e.g. C:/users/public/documents/Yourfile.txt
then propotizing it to specific users.

I didn't try that. I'll give it a shot, lets cross our fingers.

Never tried it myself, but in theory it should work! 'fingers crossed'.

Pixepro, Thanks for your help. I ended up doing it the old fashion way.... From the administrator profile I created a shortcut and dragged it to the other user profile. Maybe at a later date i'll try the "Share With" option.
