Solved cannot share printer to network any more

I have a Canon D450 printer, connected to my Windows 7 machine via USB.
In the past, I had no trouble sharing it onto the network.

Recently, I upgraded from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional (both 64-bit).
For some reason, ever since then, I cannot share it onto our network; everything appears to be set properly, but my wife's Windows 10 machine simply does not see the printer at all; it doesn't show up when looking at my machine on the network (though all my shared folders are there), and searching for printer does not find it.

Here's what I've done on the Windows 7 machine:
> Devices and Printers: Canon D400-450: Properties: Sharing tab
'Share this printer' is selected
'Render print jobs on client computers' is selected
> Devices and Printers: Canon D400-450: Properties: Security tab
Group 'Everyone' permissions: Print: Allow is select

Network and Sharing Center: Advanced sharing settings: Home or Work
All of these settings are enabled/turned on:
> Turn on network discovery
> Turn on file and printer sharing
> Turn on sharing so anyone with network access (etc>
> Use 128-bit encryption
> Turn off password protected sharing
> Use user accounts and passwords to connect to other computers

What else do I need to do??

One possibility is, the printer was currently considered a USB001 virtual device;
I'm going to try changing it to a TCP/IP port and reboot, though that was never required previously...

Nevermind... I removed the printer from Control Panel, then unplugged/replugged the USB cable, and Windows re-installed everything just fine, including setting up Sharing settings. The other machine was then able to connect to the network printer with no problems at all...

Excuse me while I beat my head against the wall for awhile...
