Canon Printer LBP 1120

I'm going mad trying to use this printer!
I have found only the Vista 32bit drivers.
I tried to install them (by manually select them, not with an exe application, so I can't choose the vista or xp compatibility check) to my windows 7 32bit but at the end I got an error about the spooling service that was blocked during running.
can anyone please help me? thanks!

It is best to uninstall the old drivers and run the exe file in compatibility mode for the new driver.

Thanks but I have already saw the link you suggested.
I can't install the drivers by clicking on the exe because these drivers haven't this kind of installation. to install this printer i have to go on device manager, click on the driver, then choose to update the driver then specify the path of the uncompressed file downloaded from canon.

I'm wondering why you got the error on installation?
Have you tried rebooting a few times to see if will recognize and install properly?

Sure I've reboot my pc (a lot of times!) after I've installed the vista drivers but nothing changes.

ok and my canon lbp 1120 isn't in there. now what can I do to print? :huh:

You have to try drivers from similar printers and find which one works.
