Solved cant boot - always get to 0x50 BSOD

Extract it and you will get an installer that looks like this

Start the installer by clicking the installer you extracted. Agree to any terms, select the drive letter of your USB flash drive (make sure it is correct), check the box that says format and click start. When finished in just a few seconds, you will have these files on your USB Flash Drive.

Restart your computer and boot into the USB Flash Drive, not the Windows operating system. The test will automatically run. It will run until you stop it by pressing the escape key. Run it for 8 complete passes or until you get an error. If you get an error, stop the test, the test has failed. It has to be run for 8 full passes all at the same time. It will take quite a few hours to run, so it's best to run it overnight. My backup rig has 8 GB of ram. It takes it 9.5 hours to run 8 complete passes.

The first picture is what you want.. Mine is the same thing. The icon was just on my desktop which has a black background. Put a USB flash drive in and click the icon to open it and run it you will probably have to agree to terms, tell it the drive letter of your USB flash drive and check the box next to it to format the flash drive, it will install memtest to the flash drive you selected. Then boot from the flash drive. Memtest will automatically run and keep running until you tell it to stop by pushing the escape key. Let it run until you have done 8 passes. It will take 8-10 hours to do that many passes. run it for 8 full passes or until you get an error. If you get an error, you can stop the test. But let it run for 8 full passes. Each pass consists of 10 tests, each pass tests a different part of your ram and each test runs a different test. It takes 8 full passes to completely test your ram. If you get an error, you don't need to run the 8 full passes, you can stop the test as the ram has failed.

OK, let us know how it turns out. But, again, let it run all day if necessary. It needs to run 8 full passes all at one time, so let it run until you get that many or more is better. If you get an error, you can stop the test. The ram has failed, no reason to run it any longer.

What is the manufacturer of your hard drive? And see if you can get into bios and find the +12V, +5V and +3.3V readings. You also have a Dell Diagnostic on your laptop. Boot into that and run the whole test.

how do i find that info? and how to access the Dell Diagnostic Tool? if i press F2 on startup i get the Setings listing where i cant see any of the qw's you ask.

You may not have it, but try F11 or F12 at the Dell Logo screen and see if you have the diagnostic option.

Again, if you can boot into bios and tell me the +12v, +5V and +3.3V reading. Also, download and run the manufacturer of your hard drive's diagnostic program. Run the short and long test and tell us the results. And, Please fill out your system specs in as much detail as possible. Go to your last post, click 'My System Specs' There will be a link there to update it, when finished, please be sure to click save at the bottom of the page. Also, please keep a close watch on your CPU temps.
