so my family is not doing to good now, and unfortunately my internet shutoff and we cant pay the bill for a while. so i will have no internet for a while. however a neighbor somewhere around me has an open network. i can connect to it through my laptop and get on the internet with ok speeds, however when i try and connect with my desktop, it will not connect even tho its in range. when i click it to connect, it tells me the connection was unsuccessful. then it shows it trying to identify the network and it connects with limited access. after that it will not connect to the internet. if i type ip config it says no network found and acts like im not even connected to the router.
anyway how would i be able to connect? or is there a way i can connect my laptop like i am now, and then have my desktop feed off that?
