I just recently re-installed Windows 7. Before I had done so I used to access my Windows Home Server through Windows Explorer by typing ftp://ericsbase.homeserver.com. And right at the point where I was getting ready to uninstall, instead of showing the files in
Windows Explorer, like it should, it automatically opened up Google Chrome and tried opening it up through there unsuccessfully. Now, after re-installing Windows 7, it still does this. I have no idea why. On my router I have ports 80, 443,4125 and 21 forwarded. So please let me know how I can fix this.

Check to make sure that your Home server webpage is active and that your user is authorized to access.

Just an update here: since the ftp server kept opening in google chrome, I decided to try and uninstall it and then access my whs through windows explorer. But when I did that, I got some kind of error saying that what I was trying to access did not have a proper program to access them. I don't remember the exact error message though. The ftp server I was using was filezilla. I randomly decided to try a different ftp program, I found smartFTP and somehow that now works. But I still don't understand why I can't access my server with filezilla and through windows explorer.
