can't copy floppy disc into win7 and

I have an old program I bought on floppys and I It won't let me copy the disc.. and I don't have a way to get it into win7 on my new notebook. Is there a way I can beat the copy protection on the disc or hook it up to my new Dell6520? I have the program installed on xp in my old dell. I have the floppy drive but it won't fit the new dell.

Trying to copy the floppies could be uphill, they could have hidden files or damaged sectors by design. Best to get an external floppy drive and hook it upto the dell.
