Can't delete files in Music library, explorer.exe takes up 90% cpu

I am trying to delete some music in the library but explorer just freezes up and takes up 90% of my cpu while doing this

the green bar never finishes

and the files never get deleted
after I end explorer from the task manager, dllhost.exe takes up 25% of my cpu also
even just opening the music library takes up a lot of cpu and I was wondering what this was and how can I delete these files

delete any rubbish found with the malware scans
(NB If one is running Kaspersky security it may rant about ADW - just ignore it or disable Kaspersky while the ADW is being used)

You are trying to delete your music library - not the music within it which would not be affected anyway.

From your screenshot - path ends with Music.library-ms

In Explorer, navigate ABOVE the offening folder.
Right-click the folder and choose properties.
In the popup dialog, choose the customize tab.
What do you see in the "Optimize this folder for" box.
- General items?
- Documents?
- Pictures?
- Music?
- Videos?
If you choose "General items" and click OK at the bottom, your problem might go away.
