cant delete play from context

Im trying to delete play from right click context from audio cd and drive but i wont delete..When i right click on a audio cd or a dvd movie there is a option called paly and when i click on it, it starts playing with real player and i rather have it play with windows media player when i click on play or better yet would just like to delete it if its possible..

I went to hkey_classes_root on regedit and then on audioCD and found the entry play and when i deleted it, the play option was still there on right click.

please help.

you need to set the default for playing a cd,
click the start menu button, click default programs and then select change autoplay settings.
the first one on the list is audio cd, click the dropdown arrow and change it from real player to wmp.
then save the changes.

not sure i understand why you want to remove play from context menu.

Thanks , i was able to remove it thru the registry by going to hkey classes root dvd and audioCD folder.

I already had windows media player as my default for audiocd but everytime i clicked play it would start with real player which is very strange.

I usually prefer just to have autoplay on my context as that way i get to choose which program i want to use.
