Hello tobiboy and welcome to Seven Forums.
Couple of things you can try. But I would suggest you make a system restore point before doing anything "just in case" something goes wrong.

How to do a system restore
In the start menu search box, type in
laserjet.cpl ... does the file appear in the upper section? If it does you should be able to delete it by clicking on it to highlight it and then clicking the keyboard delete key. Or right-clicking > delete in the context menu.
If the file doesn't appear after typing
laserjet.cpl you could try using the Group Policy Editor.
1. In the start menu search box type in
gpedit.msc and click Enter
2. To open the Group Policy Editor expand Administrative Templates
3. Click on Control Panel
4. Select, “Show only specified Control Panel Applets”
5. Select Properties.
6. A dialog box will open, click on “Disable”
Did the control panel icon (applet) get removed?
