Under turn systems icons on or off, the setting for Network is Off and greyed out so it cannot be turned on. Doesn't change if I have all the icons showing or in the popup window.
In the select which icons menu I have network set to show the icon and notifications.
The icon was there last night but today is gone.
I have the latest release of Classic Shell installed, but that's never bothered the notification icons.
No help here http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/19085-system-icons-enable-disable.html
HideSCANetwork is not found in the Registry.
No help here either Programmers BLOG: SYSTEM ICON PROBLEM No instances of cannot repair in the log and sfc /scannow finished with Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
