Not sure if anyone had posted this already, but I d/l directly from Broadcom (maker of my USB BT adapter's chipset) and let it run and this fixed this install of Win7 right up. Now pairs with random headphones and speakers. What the doctor ordered, apparently: Bluetooth Software Download | Broadcom edit: this is not a 'driver' per se, it appears to add some wedges or communication stack layers to the BT stack of windows 7-64 (&8 I believe) so that the OS now supports communication with more devices than it did already by default, at least with the many Broadcom based products.
