Can't find video card after formatting!

I give up. it worked just fine before I formatted and now no matter what drivers are installed it doesn't work. Nothing about the system has changed. I've been fighting this since yesterday and now the Catalyst Control Center shuts down as soon as the PC starts. Sure I can see my video card in the device manager now but with the error 34 on it so its useless:mad::mad::mad:

What is the actual model number of your motherboard? MSI V Class doesn't give much to go on, and was used on boards from the old Intel socket 478 up to newer AMD AM3 boards.

OK here is the full specs on your motherboard,

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/K9MM-V.html#/?div=Detail

It has the old Via K8M800 chipset on it, and Via never released any Windows 7 drivers for it beyond whatever support is built into 7 for it. As far as I know the video card should be OK with the built in AGP driver, which is needed for the video card driver to install and work properly. Via did release a Vista driver for it,

VIA Drivers Download - VIA Technologies, Inc.

It might be worth giving them a try. Just work your way through the dropdowns till you get to the Hyerion 4-in-1.

As far as the driver for the video card, this is the one you need for it being AGP,

AMD Catalyst

The regular AMD drivers may install (usually not) on the AGP cards, but if they do they don't work properly as there is no AGP support in them.

Those are the same drivers I have and The Hyperion won't even install it says it can't find the component. It just blows my mind becasue it worked yesterday with the exact same system and same windows 7. But ever since I formatted its just been screwed. I think it needs to smashed by Thor at this point. The (code 34) I guess is the problem now. I know that I am using the exact same drivers as I had before.
