Internet works on internet browsers, msn, skype but is limited or does not work on utorrent, webcam chat, all games requiring internet e.g. steam, bf3, starcraft2
I have no idea what the problem is and it use to work fine.

I've recently did a fresh windows 7 install too but no fix.

We have 2 routers connected to the one major router which feeds 7 ppl in the house. Most people use wireless but i use ethernet cable. I tried switching between ethernet and wireless but there was no difference. I tried portfowarding but no luck there. Everyone seems to be fine except me. I use avast AV and have put exclusions in and turned on gaming mode on. Firewall doesn't seem to be the issue here. For utorrent I have the green tick on connections but wont connect to seeds or peers.

Also tried making myself DMZ and turned on and off UPnP

I don't know whats wrong....please help

sounds like you're playing with router settings. In the router may be the problem, rather than your computer. Perhaps try reseting the router settings back to normal (and resetting the password after) and see if that fixes anything BEFORE changing any more settings. if you notice an imporvement, then it is indeed the settings you are playing with that are effecting your connection.
I assume you know how to connect to it as you were speaking of router settings perviously

can you connect to the internet with avast disabled?

Try turning off and on the router, very very small chance this will do anything, but why not?

Are you disabling services in your computer? what OS does "Everyone" in your house have?

Let me know how this works for ya

Well majority have windows 7 and some vista. mixture of 32bit 64bit. Its only me and i dont know whats going on. Ive changed ethernet cables which doesn't help.

and this problem persists even after you've completely reinstalled windows? wow, then I wouldn't have any clue what the problem is, as we've covered pretty much everything. could try calling microsoft and see if they'd be willing to help you out. Or wait for another response
