Cant get latest Itunes to install

Is anyone having trouble or can give me any tips on how to install Itunes 8.2.1
I already have 8.1.1 installed fine but keep getting various security issues with 8.2.1
Im running win 7260 x86.

Never had this issue before.

I have 8.2.1.6 r unning fine on x86 and it was installed from the apple s'ware updater. what kind of 'security issues' are you having?

try right clicking on the installer, properties..compatibly..vista sp2.

Thanks guys.

A bit of a false alarm I'm afraid although i did have a lot of trouble.
The problem seemed to be the installer couldn't get access to quite a few locations, other than program data the installer could place its icons so i had to work my way through and take ownership of each one, each time a different error came up.
All sorted now though.
