Can't get SD Memory Card driver to work on windows 7

Hi,

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on a Dell Latitude E6400, I've put my card adapter in to the built in card reader but nothing happens. The SD Host Adapter is fine but i get the yellow exclamation mark next to SD Memory Card under the disk drives option. I've tried the driver from the Dell website and still nothing. It's almost like windows is overruling it with the driver that won't work.

Can someone please help me with this, it's driving me mad lol

I don't know how old your Latitude is but my Latitude D810 won't read the 4GB and larger SDHC cards but works fine with the 2GB and smaller SD cards, have the same problem with an older digital camera and an older camcorder. For the D810 I use a $10 [Wal*Mart] SDHC card reader, takes up very little room in the bag.
