Its not narrator.
All I did was change the mouse to large and inverting. Now everytime mouse moves to an item, windows talks about it.

I want it to stop talking this nonsensical stuff. Switching mouse back to normal and it still talks.

Ok, it seems to have finally stopped doing that. What was it doing? Was narrator running?

Did you do anything that made it stop?

Have a look here => Windows 7 Narrator - Won't turn off!.

I hope this helps!

I clicked all sorts of buttons off and on, but nothing immediately made it stop, it just eventually stopped talking. It was saying stuff like magnifier, had about 5 word repertoire, seemingly randomly, not reading text
