Reading around, it seems like everyone seems to have issues getting updates to install.

This is on a freshly installed copy of 7 Pro x64 SP1.

And here it fails later (it only tries to install 3 updates. the Update readiness tool spends awhile using a single core of my computer to install only to fail)

Thanks for any help

EDIT: UPDATE: after trying over and over, looks like the update readiness tool finally installed! I didn't change anything... really strange.

Hmmm. That seemed to let a few more updates install. Down to needing to install 11 of them, 8007065E error is now gone.

One at time

Try one at a time, maybe there is one in paticular that is causing a problem and then you can isolate it.

If there is any assoiciated with net framewok save them for last and definetly do them one at a time.
