Virus and attachments are always bad news.
This is worth a try and really good housekeeping.
Whenever you get an attachmentto an email, no matter who it is from ALWAYS save it to your desktop. Then right click on it and you should get the choice to "Scan with [Your anti virus]". Only if it is clean should you then open it. You can of course then safely move it to a better location or delete it.
Do this when you are sometimes given a data CD or memory stick especially those that you read for a friend!!!!!!!!!! If in doubt, do it. It cannot harm anything and may just save your bacon!
