can't open jpg file

I have just been sent a email ,but I can't open it .it says' on it image 004 jpg-photo gallery.
when I click on it I get a blank page. when I right click I don't get the option to open with. just open.
I have tried other ways and I got this this file can't be opened probably sent as email and not properly decoded. can anyone help.

Are you able to save the .jpg from the email to your desktop and open it from there instead?

hi Brink no I tried that it wont let me.when I right click the email I don't get option to- send to.
why does' it say photo gallery .as far as know I have not used this.

Hi,
You could just ask the sender to resend in a conventional way as a normal attachment instead of using photo gallery share.
Which it sounds like the sender did not do it correctly anyway or someone else forwarded this email to you and you don't have permissions to view it = the blank page.

If you can save jpg file then i am sure you can open jpg files too.
